Blast Evil E. Coli out of the Urinary Tract

Concentrated D-Mannose and Organic Cranberry Extract for Natural Urinary Support

Cranberries aren’t just great for Thanksgiving dinner. If you struggle with chronic UTIs you’ve probably been told to drink lots of cranberry juice. This is because cranberries include a nutrient called D-Mannose which research is showing might be as effective as antibiotics for preventing recurring UTIs.1,4

Most UTIs are caused when E. coli, a very common bacteria, finds its way into the urinary tract, sticks to the lining and multiplies. D-Mannose may be helpful at eliminating stray E. coli before they have a chance to take hold, potentially preventing not just full-blown infection but also excessive antibiotic use.1,4

D-Mannose occurs naturally in both cranberries and corn, and has some super powers when it comes to E. coli. We like to think of D-Mannose and E. coli as star-crossed lovers, like Romeo and Juliet. Once they meet, the E. coli is so attracted to the D-Mannose, it lets go of the urinary tract lining to embrace its new paramour and together they make a quick (if not poetic) exit through your urine.1,2,3

Cranberries are superfoods. In addition to including the D-Mannose compound, they also are loaded with antioxidants. But cranberries are extremely tart and hard to stomach without adding piles of sugar—just check out the label of your favorite cranberry juice. The problem with sugar is that it slows down white blood cells and impairs the immune system. When fighting a UTI, you need your immune system working at full power.2

Nested Naturals D-Mannose Plus gives you the natural benefits of an impossibly huge serving of cranberries in one potent capsule. It’s much more concentrated than cranberry juice and there’s no added sugar. We include both D-Mannose naturally sourced from non-GMO corn to fight E. coli and extract of organic cranberries for an anti-oxidant boost. D-Mannose Plus is formulated to support your urinary tract naturally and help prevent UTIs before they take hold.

D-Mannose Plus Cranberry Antioxidants Without Added Sugar

Eliminates E. Coli, But Leaves Good Bacteria Alone

D-Mannose targets only E. coli and leaves all your good bacteria alone. And it takes a kinder, gentler approach; it doesn’t kill anything. Rather, it flows through your kidneys and urinary tract, sticking to the E. coli along the way and together they are excreted.

First Line of Defense Against UTIs

Prevention is always the best medicine. D-Mannose can help eliminate stray E. coli before it multiplies and overwhelms the urinary tract. The organic cranberry extract in our formula gives extra support to the immune system.1,3

Your Questions, Our Answers

See the most popular questions asked about D-Mannose.

How should I use D-Mannose if I feel a UTI coming on?

D-Mannose is best used as a preventative measure rather than a treatment for a full-blown infection. Take it to keep a UTI at bay. When you catch it early enough, the D-Mannose has a chance of clearing out any stray E. coli before they colonize your bladder and urinary tract.

If your symptoms don’t improve after a day or two on D-Mannose, you’ll need to seek medical attention and get antibiotics. Roughly 10% of UTIs are caused by a bacteria different than E. coli and D-mannose will be of no help in those cases.

It’s important to know that sometimes antibiotics are necessary to treat UTIs. Bacteria can multiply quickly in the urinary tract and an infection is not only uncomfortable, but it can become much more serious.

How can I use D-mannose to help me get off the cycle of antibiotics and UTIs?

Antibiotics are sometimes a necessity in treating infections, but they kill off good as well as bad bacteria in your body. This can ultimately compromise your body’s natural immune response and create a cycle of needing antibiotics to fight the bad bacteria that flourish because the good bacteria are depleted.

If you are caught in a cycle of chronic UTIs and antibiotic use, you might try rebooting your system by taking two supplements: D-Mannose and probiotics. The intention is for the D-Mannose to help eliminate any stray E. coli in your urinary tract while the probiotics help to rebuild the good bacteria in your gut. The D-Mannose also might serve as a prebiotic and promote the growth of good bacteria.

Rebooting takes time; you’ll need to plan to supplement with D-Mannose for six months.

Important note: If a UTI takes hold, it’s important to seek medical attention. You may need antibiotics to clear the infection.

How do I know if the D-Mannose is working?

Any urinary discomfort will improve within a day or two. If your symptoms either stay the same or get worse, please consult with a doctor. You may need antibiotics to clear the infection.

How long should I take D-Mannose?

If you are using D-mannose because you are feeling a UTI coming on, take it until symptoms disappear.

If symptoms do not improve within 24 to 48 hours of your initial dose of D-Mannose, you need to consult with a doctor.

If you are infection free and using D-Mannose in an attempt to reboot and strengthen your UTI fighting system, plan on supplementing for a period of six months.

What is vegetable cellulose & what is it doing in Nested Naturals D-Mannose?

We use vegetable cellulose to make our gel-caps. We’re proud to say that our capsules are vegan and don’t include any animal parts.

What is magnesium stearate and what is it doing in Nested Naturals D-Mannose?

We use tiny amounts of magnesium stearate as a flow agent during the manufacturing process. It ensures that the supplement ingredients fill the capsule consistently and properly.

What is rice flour doing in Nested Naturals D-Mannose?

Rice flour helps flow the supplement ingredients into the capsule. Minuscule amounts are used during the manufacturing process. You’ll find it listed under “Other Ingredients” on our label because we believe that you deserve to know everything that goes into our supplements and your body.

Is the Nested Naturals D-Mannose sugar-free?

Chemically speaking, D-Mannose is a sugar, so we can’t say that it the supplement is sugar-free. However, D-Mannose affects the body differently than sucrose and doesn’t spike blood sugar or tax the immune system. We don’t add any sugar to flavor the capsules. We believe that nutritional supplements should be like mother’s milk: natural, full of good stuff, but nothing extra.
