A Superpowered Root That’s Kind to Your Insides

1000mg Turmeric (95% Curcuminoids) with Black Pepper to Aid Absorption

Inflammation is the body’s natural way of protecting itself from the outside world. But, as is so often the case, too much of a good thing can become a bad thing. In this case too much inflammation can lead to soreness, swelling and daily discomfort. We know the feeling and, as always, we wanted to help!

So say hello to turmeric—the knobby orange Indian root in the ginger family that makes delicious curries and soothes mild to moderate aches and pains. Turmeric promotes a healthy response to ease moderate discomfort and mild swelling from day to day activities.1,2 This is not news for Ayurvedic doctors who have been soothing joint stiffness and digestive upsets with turmeric for centuries.3

Turmeric is like a jack-of-all-trades herbal supplement – it’s there to support your overall health and wellness in a multitude of ways. Turmeric Curcumin has been found to promote cognitive function, maintain cardiovascular health, and support a normal inflammatory response in the gut to maintain a healthy digestive tract. Additionally, turmeric is commonly taken to keep your joints functioning properly. 4-6

Each capsule of Nested Naturals Turmeric Curcumin includes 1000 mg of pure turmeric root extract with 95% curcuminoids. Grinding up the root into a powder doesn’t yield very much of the active ingredient, but it’s an easy and cheap process. That’s why so many herbal supplements use powder forms. We buck the trend and use an extraction process that allows us to guarantee that you are getting a concentration of the good stuff. Because you’re looking for more than an herbal placebo, right?

Taken on its own, turmeric isn’t very bioavailable.7 Just like peanut butter works better with jelly and Batman works better with Robin, turmeric works better with black pepper.8 Some sources 9 note that black pepper may boost bioavailability of turmeric by 2,000%. We include 10mg of black pepper fruit extract in Nested Naturals Turmeric Curcumin to give your body full benefit.

Sourced From Extracts, Not Powders

All of the herbal ingredients in Turmeric Curcumin are sourced from extracts which are tested for purity and potency. Many other products on the market use the less effective powder forms because they are cheaper to produce; be sure to check labels carefully!

Turmeric + Black Pepper

It’s difficult for the body to absorb the curcuminiods in turmeric if taken all by its lonesome.7 Adding black pepper helps boost turmeric’s bioavailability.9,10

Easy to Swallow Capsule

Turmeric Curcumin is concentrated into a small, easy-to-swallow capsule. Because who likes taking a horse pill?

I like that the curcumin content is very high. As I understand it, It is approximately 450 milligrams. Most other brands don't specifically state that content. I would like to see a concentration of 1 gram but perhaps in the future.

I love this supplement! The first night I took it I had a lot of inflammation in my abdominal area and legs, I woke up with the inflammation and swelling completely gone. It's very light on the stomach and has worked wonders for me. I am a very happy customer.

I chose this product because I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Daily I have back pain and leg pains due to this, so I was VERY interested to know if it would help ease any inflammation. To my pleasant surprise, it has helped! I even take it for headaches instead of popping an Advil.

I'm using it for inflammation and take one tab before i go to bed. I think it's too early to tell if it is working since I am very stiff in the morning. But I also have Fibromyalgia which I hope will help with the pain.
