5 Tips For Remembering To Take Your Vitamins

For so many of us wellness-seekers, one of the biggest challenges when it comes to taking vitamins and supplements is simply remembering to take them. We’ve put together a few habit based ideas to help you remember to nourish yourself!

 Set a Specific Time.
Rather than saying, “I will take my vitamins each day”, set a designated time for it. Whether you choose to pop them with your breakfast, as soon as you get to work or after your evening bath, set a specific time and stick to it. numbers-time-watch-white-large

Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.
Think of the time it takes to track down your bottle of Magnesium, open it up, grab a vitamin, head to the kitchen for some water, stop to pet the cat… Okay, we’re exaggerating, but you get the point. Spending 10 minutes on Sunday night to prep for a healthy week ahead can make all the difference! Get yourself one of these vitamin organizers and pop in your daily doses of Magnesium, Choline, Biotin, 5HTP and LUNA for the week.

Note How You Feel.
Pausing to reflect on how the vitamins have made you feel during the day, week and month will help keep your new habit top of mind, as well as allow you to check in with yourself and your health. Have your energy levels improved? Do you feel more positive? Did you sleep through the night? DeathtoStock_Medium10

Tell Your Friends!
Like any habit or goal, you are more likely to stick with it if you’ve told someone about your quest for optimum health and wellness. You’d hate to have to say, “Actually, I forgot to take them this week…”
when they ask how you’re feeling, right?

Attach it to a Reward.
“When I finish this bottle of Natural Mood Lift, I will treat myself to a massage!” Hold yourself accountable to reap the benefits of good health AND a reward!
